Neuffen Castle on the mountain top.
We can see this huge castle on a mountain top in the distance from Stuttgart-Plieningen, Germany in Baden Wurttemberg. It still took us 30 minutes to drive up to this castle, including a 120+ km/hr drive on the A8 Autobahn. The 17% grade was tough and so was finding the right turn to the South to get up to the Castle vice going into Neuffen Town. This was an impressive castle with a great view. The forrested area around it was also relaxing and natural. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant at the castle, along with the falconeer display. The weather could have been more cooperative, but I think we will bring more visitors to this local attraction. We also saw a live steam train down below which I must try to ride sometime--which will take some more research.
