While reviewing our routes Super Dave and I had a difference of opinion of whether or not we would be "crossing the Rocky Mountains"
on I80 through Wyoming. I think I'm going to lose this one but here is something to discuss amongst yourselves:
While traveling through Wyoming on I80 you cross the Continental Divide but you are driving through the high plains and don't cross any traditional mountain passes. Instead the lowest elevation sign you see is a little over 5000 feet with the highest over 7000. Have you
crossed over the Rocky Mountains?
