Texas Panhandle

I had to drive across the country to a new job, with no adavnce notice. There was no way to leave before Friday. Tuesday was my last day at my 'real' job, Wednesday was packing and stuff, and Thursday was feline relocation. After that I had to drive all the way across the country, Something I've always wanted to do, but with more time to do it.

Texas Panhandle

The smooth roads of Arizona and New Mexico are quite noticable at the Texas border, where the freeway makes it sound like your tires are screaming. This is also the beginning of continuous road signs saying to move out of the way for emergency vehicles for the rest of the freeway. Texas is also home to the highest littering fines of $2000. Plus I crossed another time zone and lost another hour.
