I had to drive across the country to a new job, with no adavnce notice. There was no way to leave before Friday. Tuesday was my last day at my 'real' job, Wednesday was packing and stuff, and Thursday was feline relocation. After that I had to drive all the way across the country, Something I've always wanted to do, but with more time to do it.

Memphis Tennessee

Here is where I crossed the Mississippi river. A trip to Memphis isn't complete without a trip to Graceland, but unfortunately I got there during his 30th anniversary. there was a thirty minute line to get tickets to wait two hours to get on a bus to go to his house just to start the tour, so I had to skip it completely. The Loretta Lynn house is also nearby, but I had a deadline to make, which is the last thing you want when you are driving across the country, so the Graceland Loretta Lynn combo will have to wait another day.
