I had to drive across the country to a new job, with no adavnce notice. There was no way to leave before Friday. Tuesday was my last day at my 'real' job, Wednesday was packing and stuff, and Thursday was feline relocation. After that I had to drive all the way across the country, Something I've always wanted to do, but with more time to do it.

Cadillac Ranch

Interstate 40 follows roughly the same path as Historic Route 66, you will find many roadside attractions along the way

Just before entering Amarillo was a farm with ten cars stuck face down into the ground, where people would stop and spray paint graffitti all over them. It looks a lot like something you'd see at Burningman. This famous landmark is called Cadillac Ranch, and is an inspiration for the car shaped mountains in the movie Cars.
