KIA ORA! that means hello, thank you, good bye, you're welcome, etc in maori. the indigenous maori named nz aotearoa. i am very impressed at how wonderful the country has done to preserve the traditional maori culture. throughout nz, you can see its significant influences into the contemporary nz culture.
some of the highlights:
1. got to take pic of the nearly extinct kiwi bird. we weren't supposed to but hey, i didn't go to kiwi land for nothing. i could take thousands of pic, but they're worth nothing if i don't take a pic of the most treasure bird! so that pic is now worth millions!
2. the glowworm cave. spectacular! it is the larval stage of a two-winged insect which gives off light to attract food in the form of other flying insects. another amazing experience!
3. the minus 5 club it's a club made entirely out of ice, even the cocktail glass! we weren't supposed to bring in camera so they could make more money selling our pics. but i managed to not only took pics, but videotaped it as well! oopss..
alrite, i start downloading the pics and create a blog after i get rid off this jetlag! cheers!!
