I thought I would never find a place that I loved as much as San
Francisco, but that was before I went to Vancouver. I love cities! I
can appreciate natural beauty... kayaking and camping and hiking is
fun, but only for a few days. I adore big cities, and Vancouver rocked
my world. The people there are so much fun and so friendly... anyone
can walk into a pub alone and within 10 minutes be sitting at a table
with a host of new friends who will press bits of paper bearing their
email addresses into your hands as you leave. The food is good, there's
always a festival or market or art show to check out, the beer flows
freely and the happy, befriending air of the place is intoxicating. I
can't wait to get on a plane and get myself back there... hopefully for
a long, long time.
