Conveniently located for rail station & city centre
The Maritim, Munich is a clean, modern hotel handily located in Goethestr. for the rail station and city centre.
Though not in the most salubrious of districts (there is an adult cinema between the hotel and station) it is just a 5-10 min walk to the top of Neuhauserstr., where the pedestrianised zone starts.
I didn't have any meals there, but enjoyed the pool, sauna & steam room after sightseeing in the December chill. Be warned however, that the facilities are mixed and swimsuits are frowned upon by Germans, Austrians & the Swiss!
