Days 2 and 3 in KL!
DAY 2
Ruby came last night about 2.3am, so after a hot and lousy night sleep, we headed off to Times Square Mall. I know it sounds crazy, but I was so tired and feeling a bit jet lagged, it was the only good place to be! The mall has refreshing AC, 11 floors, a lot of restaurants and a theme park. So after a bit of shopping (couldn't believe skirts, tops and dresses, shoes and handbags were 1-2 GBP!) we met Jeff back at the hostel, then took him to the mall! We spent the day shopping, on rides at the theme park and eating in the upstairs mall.
During the evening we had a Trav Buddy meetup at Chen Ghat, were we all went out for a few drinks and some dancing! Great night!
DAY 3
Feeling a bit better today, so after a much needed long lie in, headed off for another walk with Jeff and Ruby around KL, we headed to Merdeka Sqaure, China Town and back to the hostel. I had to change hostel as Equator was full, so moved to the Green Hut which was 25 Ringit for a shared dorm, with free breakfast and internet. In the evening I walked from Chen Ghat around Little India, the night market which was fantastic, and to the Petronas Towers. I met up with TB'ers at Sky Bar in Traders Hotel, which had the most awesome view of the towers and KL, ha d adrink there then made our way to the Hilton for a while, then back to Chen Ghat for some dancing. Another great night out, but another late return at 3am again!
