Getting ready to go....

Tuesday was a busy, busy day.  I had a doctor appointment in the morning then we dashed around getting prescriptions, medical supplies and vacation things.... 

I bought a great beach bag at Target for $2.50.  Hopefully, I will wear it out in Hawaii.  We stopped the mail while we will be gone, bought groceries for our daughter, Erin (she's watching the house and feeding the goats)  and ran home to pack.  Ugh.... nothing like waiting until the last second!   

I was half finished packing and realized I needed to pay bills.  So I took the time to pay bills and write the envelopes.  I couldn't find my stamps so I threw the envelopes into my suitcase to send out from Hawaii...  I also had thank you letters to write so I included some cards... ..... (although, now that I think of it, why didn't I just buy them in Hawaii?....duh)   I went back to packing....  about 11 PM our middle daughter, Morgan came over to spend the night.  She was our ride in the morning....   We enjoyed visiting with her then went back to packing... 

I remembered I hadn't moved the plants all onto the patio to be watered... I sneaked out and moved them one by one... David would have stopped me if he knew...LOL... he'll know when he reads this.... Then back to packing......  I finished about 2 AM..... not too bad except we were getting up at 3:30 to get to the airport by 5AM .....   Yeah, we really know how to push the envelope.   

I slept really, really fast and was surprised how easy it was to get up at 3:30 (really) and we gathered and drove to the airport.  Morgan dropped us off and kissed us goodbye ... It would be so fun if the kids could join us for a future trip.   Morgan was supposed to work again at 8 AM.....  So great of her to do all of this for us....
