Hotel Grille Erlangen

The Hotel Grille was a nice play to stay after being in a hostel for a while. We crammed four guys into one room (lol) to save money and they didn't mind or charge us extra. We were staying for the Bergkirchweih in Erlangen during May 30 - June 2nd. We had a blast! The hotel staff did not speak as much English as we had hoped but we were still able to communicate a little bit with them and arrange taxis and such. I would recommend it if you can afford it! Only downside is the location, not much for food options near by and it is a good 30 - 40 minute walk into town if you don't want to pay for a taxi...

Wow. My first time to Germany and my first beer festival over there and it was amazing!!! Loved it and am definitely making it into a yearly trip. Can't wait to go again. A litre of beer cost 7 euro which wasn't too bad for how good it was. Tons of people, tons of live music, food, rides, then down to the discotheque after spending a few hours up at the festival. To sum it up everyone should experience it at least once!
