Children's Cup has its Africa offices in Swaziland, a beautiful country that is being ravaged by the terrors of having 49% of its population HIV-positive. The effects of such a high infection rate reach deep into the soul of this country, making it one of the neediest places in the world.

It was just too good to be true.....

I am here in Washington now, waiting for the South African airline ticket counter to open. I arrived from Raleigh with no issue, but since I had such a delay for my next flight and it want on the board, I asked someone at American Airlines if they knew the counter. They said I had to go back to the ticket counter.... BAD ADVICE. The ticket counter doesnt open until 2:00 and now I have to go through security again! Aghhhhhh.... what is it about DC that always causes a stumble in flights to Africa? Oh well, this is just a quick stumble and will be back in order shortly.

Have already chatted with my friends in Swaziland and they are so excited about my arrival..... I am very excited to be there too!!
