Mui Ne - Day 1

I swear it's the last 'me riding bike' shot :)

After 3 days of riding I wanted to do pretty much anything that didn't involve sitting on my butt, so lying on the beach qualifies there :)  Mui Ne is a beach town with various resorts of varying price spread out along it. The beach seems to go for quite a way though, which unfortunately means that there isn't a lot you can walk to so you end up only really buying food from the guesthouse or the closest food joint.  I'd have to say I've been a little bit disappointed with Vietnams beaches, given that I couldn't even swim at Nha Trang, and Mui Ne was average at best.  Kind of dirty water, choppy surf that isn't great for body-surfing but to be fair it's a perfect temperature :)

On the ride in to Mui Ne I did finally see some of Vietnam that wasn't green! It does actually exist!  Around Mui Ne is a lot of red sand and sand dunes, which the kids in Mui Ne will try to get you to sand-board down for a small fee (all reports indicate it's not worth it, the dunes aren't THAT big, and sometimes the kids just have to push you along)

So unfortunately the 3 days with wind blowing on my face had left me with a cold so some relaxation time was greatly appreciated
