Who is he?

He sits at the right hand of God, he can walk on water, he comes back from the dead and best of all he turns water into wine! If i could patent his last ability i would be a very rich man indeed. So the man of the moment has many other hidden talents to say the least the ones outlined here are just a standard week of activities for the big guy..... Any ideas?

He is Jesus Christ or when in Rio, Cristo the Redeemer!

As we have all been told im sure when in Rio you gotta visit the holy man arms spread in all his glory looking over the serenity of Rio de Janeiro┬┤s beautiful harbour! Now being raised in a christian home and attending churhie things whilst growing up the image of Cristo the Redeemer had been thrust in front of me more than a few times especially in those ardeous sessions in the back pew of the church belting out gospel turns.

In all his glory
But i never really knew where he could be found (some strange reason I always thought it was in Rome....)!?! So over the years a gradual curosity for the statue developed and when i first saw Brazil win the world cup and the image of Christ with open arms was splash all over the media in association to the Braziliaan soccer team it clicked! Now im here and every time i surf Copacabana i look up to see the mighty man that inspires millions around the world bearing down but surprisingly he emits seemingly peaceful overtones another remarkable ability of a man of his stature!

It is also cool to see something you believe in that you can actually touch, a tangible thing! When all your life your raised to believe in something you cannot see, this being called faith haha!! Well nevertheless both forms of the holy dude are cool! When you go stand next to the statue itself it is massive, a lot bigger than i expected, he has a pretty sweet view as well but geez he must get sick of all his visitors (i think statue Jesus has his limits of love rather than the real deal)! Well there isnt really much more to say on the subject, if you go youll visit you wont be able to resist and youll get some great snaps! See him during the day not late evening for better snaps, but honestly from the beaches of Copacabana or Ipanema his presence and symbolic rapture is far greater (i think)! Only time will tell what the big man really looks like but hopefully not too soon! Peace and safe travels everyone!
