Pilgrimage to the tomb of Dom Perignon

Because we enjoyed it so much during our visit in 1991 and because the drive was short, I suggested we visit the abbey at Hautvillers before leaving Champagne. As I feared, the grounds of the abbey were closed but we were able to visit the abbey church and came across the tomb of none other than Dom Perignon himself!
