Two of my girlfriends and i took a trip to Hawaii, USA in Feb this year. We stayed in Wakiki beach, spent our time at the beach, shopping and enjoying the nightlife. We especially loved 'Nashville' - a country and western pub on the main drag, where we took part in a pubcrawl - or 'bar crawl' as the Yanks like to say. We met lots of American Army/marine/navy men, and were even there to learn about the Superbowl which occured when we were there. The bar offered line dancing lessons, which we didn't quite make it to, but will hope to catch next time we're there. We went to Pearl Harbor - a very sobering tour educated us on the events that took place and brought home just how lucky we were to be young and care free. We had so much fun, visited the infamous 'hooters', went on a fun day cruise where we saw 100 year old turtles, met hundreds of fantastic new people, and just generally had a ball. I recommend it to anyone... it was awesome!!! Next time we go, we'll be sure to go out to pipeline - something we hoped to had seen while we were there.
