Happy Hour at Elle Wine Country Restaurant
An estimated 59 SAAC members attended the meet up: I was not signed up to attend but I decided at the last minute to go and attend just to see if I would be refued entrance. This was supposed to be a reservation required event only. Why it was beat my understanding considering the restaurant almost had no one in there and have an open attendance would have drawn more people. Nonetheless there I was all dressed up in black and looking as radiant as I always do (can you hear the self pride?). well we had two service attendants assigned to us outside in the back area of the restaurant and another seating area inside where dinner could be ordered.
This was my second visit to Elle even though I have probably driven past it more than 50 times in the last two years I have lived in Tucson. Elle is what one would call a high style, finer dinning wine restaurant with a wine list that comprises all wines worldwide. I sampled the Argentine wine from Mendoza with a dry and spiced base, great table wine I must add. I should love to attend a wine tasting here sometime.
