This was our first trip to Heidelberg. We planned the trip to coordinate with the TB meet-up and view the castle burning show. The weather could have been better but TB friends and a beautiful city made the trip enjoyable.

Nice 4 star hotel in Heidelberg
If you are looking for a nice hotel with all the amenities then this is good choice. They have a restaurant that only serves organic food items, 24 hr reception, under ground parking garage and fitness center.
The location is pretty good, just 3 blocks west of the Bismarckplatz where the pedestrian only street starts. We walked to the Old Town square and it took us 45 minutes. There is plenty of things to see along the way and besides we need to burn calories.
We booked a double on line and when we arrived we were given a room with 2 twin beds. The receptionist apologized for the mistake and we ended up on the 10th floor with a corner room and a balcony. Very nice room with leather chairs, satelite TV and king size bed.

The price for the room was 81 euros and parking was 17 euros.
