This is a record of the US-Canada road trip by the Western McFaddens

Crossing the St Lawrence Seaway

We were advised that the north side of the Saint Lawrence Seayway was a nicer drive than the south side.  So we took the ferry from Rivier-Du-Loup to Saint-Simeon.  Very nice crossing at 4 knots - compared to The Cat which moves at 45 knots.  But it was nice.  Liam fell down a set of stairs on the ship, but I caught him inches before he would have hit the deck.  I feellike a Good Dad :-)

Ryan is disappointed in the number of kids who speak french - or rather who don't speak english.  Or won't.
