It took us more than 10 hours drive to arrive in Pagudpud. A long and very tiring travel through car but it's worth the sacrifice when we arrive in our final destination. Burayoc Point, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte! Where the sea meets the mountain and the corals meet the white beach.

The place where we stayed in Burayoc Point is Pagudpud Rinnovati. We booked our reservation with this resort through the internet. This is our first time in Pagudpud and first time at Pagudpud Rinnovati so we don't know what to expect.

We were greeted upon our arrival at Pagudpud Rinnovati with their free welcome drink - a freshly cut young coconut- each of us. The coconut juice made our tired and aching backs disappear. And the soft coconut meat was so delicious I still remember the taste while writing this blog.

The beach front is less than 50 meters from our place of stay. Our fatigue had dissipitated after consuming our welcome drinks so we went immediately to the famous Saud white beach. There's a long stretch of heart shaped white beach going to the north while you can see coral reefs at the southern direction. And wonder of wonders, we can see many windmills in a far southern horizons of the sea. Those are the Bangui Windmills.

The following day, we took the organized tour offered by Pagudpud Rinnovati Tours. We used our car and one staff accompanied us as our tour guide. We went to see Bantay Abot, an enermous rock at the sea with a hole in the center. We travelled north arriving at the Patapat bridge. The bridge is very long and it snakes at the side of a mountain while below is the sea. Awesome! Going farther north, we arrived at place called Paraiso-ni-Anton. Stream cool water cascades at the side of the mountain. Many travellers especially those going to Cagayan stopped in this place to drink the cool water.

Going back to the resort, we stopped-over at midway and went to Kabigan falls. There's a point that vehicles can not enter because the path is only trail so we left our car and trekked around 30 minutes passing streams of waters along the way. A not so-high waterfalls, cool water and the place is very tranquil. The water is very cool and we took a bath.

We had our adventures for more than half a day. We were tired but very contented. We don't only have the white beach and the sea but we also the scenic spots of Pagudpud. We were made to know that Pagudpud Rinnovati Tours offers also Ilocos Norte/Ilocos Sur adventures and not only Pagudpud Tours and we promised we will be back again in Pagudpud at Pagudpud Rinnovati to try this tour in the future.
