looking for a moose!

Since I was stuck in Prince George for a few extra days I decided to experience one of the great canadian passtimes : Searching for a moose. After talking to ralph the overweight excessive gambler I was told to look for a swamp and the moose will come to me. So I headed on I-97 towards dawson creek and found a place called bear lake park. OK a bear is not a moose... but bears need animals to hang out with, and I figure a moose would be a nice addition. SO I had 40 miles north of prince goerge in a mosquito filled cess pool. No Moose!
So in frustration I head back towards prince george to check out "salmon river run", figuring moose like to hang out by water. Instead of being greeted by a nice all canadian moose I get greeted by a slew of fishermen, where I recieve a break : Check out UNBC (university of northern british columbia). So I head back to town , and go up a large hill and start hiking. An hour pass and I see many "signs" pointing to a moose sighting. Then suddenly I look up, and I see a beautiful moose about 30 feet away on a little ridge type thing. I try to snap a picture and it heads towards the woods. What a graceful animal! SO here for you to see are authentic moose photos, they are kind of blurry, but hey what do you expect from a disgruntled technical advisor?
