Stormy Friday Night

A Tropical Depression is looming off the coast, near Hong Kong, and apparently we were expected to receive some pretty good thunderstorms this weekend. The day started off so beautifully, with billowy clouds. We were staying in tonight and I was cooking one of my favorite meals - scallops in a champagne vanilla sauce. Yum!
I went outside on the balcony and tried to get a couple shots of the beautiful day. When Brett got home, we went up on the building roof to see if we could get a couple prettier pictures. Holy cow, it was windy! Being on the 14th story of a building with high winds was probably not the smartest move but we really got to appreciate how beautiful our area is (if only we had the penthouse suite so we got all these views versus our lowly 5th floor one! LOL).
We had an awesome dinner, enjoyed some champagne and went out to take a few more pictures of the sunset and the moon. It was probably one of the prettiest days we've had since I arrived. Usually the clouds are so thick, you cannot see much around the city and our mountain is missing. Today was just amazing - except for the gale force winds! LOL
