Driving around Taoyuan City

Next stop after leaving Jhuwei Harbor was Taoyuan City and the surrounding County area. This is actually the city the Taipei airport is in so it was interesting to drive around a little more than just the airport area itself.  First stop seemed to be Betelnut row!  There were numerous booths with the typical Betelnut beauties inside (scantly clad women) selling the betelnut.  Sadly, the sun's glare was pretty strong so I was not able to get the best pictures as we drove by. 

Taoyuan was rather pretty and we saw some interesting shopping areas. It would probably be worth another trip back and perhaps go wander down some of the major streets to check out the shopping and restaurants to see what is good.  I am especially interested in the shopping area that looked like a castle complex. I tried to get a couple decent photos which was not easy with speed demon behind the wheel! :-)
