September 15th, 2009 I'm flying to Australia on a Working Holiday Visa for eleven months. Plan is to work for an adventure sport company and travel around to see every thing Australia has to offer!

My visa has been granted!!!! :-)

Today I got a message from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship of the Australian Government:

Dear Maike Jetty den Uijl

RE: Application for Subclass 417 - Working Holiday (Temporary) (Class TZ) visa

This is to advise that you have been granted a Working Holiday Visa, Subclass 417, on 11 June 2009.
This letter contains important information about this visa.

I'm so happy!! And surprised that the visa was granted so soon. On Monday I visited the radiologist, so the results where in Berlin (Australian Embassy) by Tuesday/Wednessday and today (Thursday) I got the email that every thing is fine and I got my Working Holiday Visa for a year!!!
Only three more months and then I'm going to Australia! Now it's time to find a job!
