Day 8: Celestun and Merida
Hey,
We woke up early to get everything ready for the day. On the way to the bus terminal we stopped at a lavanderia who will take our clothes back to the hostel when it`s cleaned. And then direction Celestun (playa). Arrived there, we went straight to the beach where we were asked if we wanted to go on a boat trip in the natural reserve to see flamingos. But we first wanted to relax on the beach but because they insist we negociated and finally accepted. We visited the reserve for one hour and a half, it was really nice but the boat went sometimes way too fast. The end of the afternoon we spent it on the beach relaxing. And to tok the bus back to Merida at 18h30. We arrived in Merida at 20h30 and looked for a supermarket but everything was closed. We ask someone for help and he took us to the Wal-Mart a bit further away. There we found what we needed and took the bus back to the hostel. We cooked our dinner and went to bed.
