Today we woke up in Veracruz and took a bus to Santiago Tuxtla because there is normally una fiesta there for San Juan. It took us three hours in a second class bus with windows and doors open to get to Santiago Tuxtla. Arrived in Santiago: " Where is the fiesta?" Bad luck it begins at 5pm and at that time we`ll arlready be gone. We visit the mercado and village which is really nice. We discovered what Zapotes means thanks to a hotel owner who gave us some. This is a orange fruit with a taste between mango and orange. We eat those fruits and go back to the road to get a bus back to Veracruz. When we got in Veracruz we found out that the night bus for Campeche was full. We booked thus another bus that goes to Cuidad del Carmen and then another one to Campeche. After that, we went to Parque Zamora to find something to eat. Because Veracruz is a haven all we can find is fish. We finally understand what we can get and eat some gambas with rice and a sangria without alcohol. After that we went back to the terminal to take to bus to Cuidad del Carmen.
