A sunny day at Scheveningen

It was great weather this weekend, so what do you do then. Go to the beach :-D
Steph told her parents all about Scheveningen, so they want to experience it for themselves, so we set off. Took the train to Den Haag Centraal and from there take the tram to the beach. Too bad we weren't the only people in the world who thought of going to Scheveningen, because I never saw it this busy. That still didn't break the fun.
We had a relaxing walk over the beach and a little in the water. After a while we came to the "SprookjesBeelden aan Zee". They are all statues of fairytales. In 2004 a large outdoor terrace was built on the seaward side of Beelden aan Zee museum. The terrace has twenty-three fairytale sculptures by the American sculptor Tom Otterness. If you ever go to Scheveningen, go find the statues.
After taking pictures of the statues we went to the Copacabana to have a drink and some lunch. I had a Tuna sandwich. Hmmmmmm.... Tuna! After the lunch we went for an icecream :-) After that we went over to the pier and had a walk there. The bungee thing was active and we saw a couple of people jumping.
We had a great sunny day, it was just perfect! :-D
