GUY LASSAUSAIE,one of the new 2009 Michelin 2 stars restaurant 25 km far from Lyon.
For the last of 3 lunch celebrating Danielle's Birthday,we have lunch today Monday! (thanks to the catholic church,after 4 days off last week,we have our Monday off this week,France is definitely a lazy country,IT CAN'T GO ANY LONGER!!) in Guy Lassausaie well-established restaurant,25 km north of Lyon were tradition meets the sublime.
We had there several lunch,dinner( even on NY) and were never disappointed by the cuisine served in spacious contemporary dining rooms.It's the Best (or one of the best) good value for money amongst the gastronomic restaurants of Lyon area.
Proud descendant of four generations of female chefs,he won the title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best craftsman of France) in 1993 and got his first Michelin star the next year.Recognised by his peers, he is the chairman of the Chef's association Les Toques Blanches Lyonnaises.
At another time ,we had today a great meal of generous and fine cuisine with appetizers,starter,main course,a tremendous cheese tray,different delicacies and dessert served in a kind of private dining room,cos of the child I presume.
As white wine,we had another time, a Crozes Hermitage 2007 from Alain Graillot and as red,a fabulous Chateauneuf du Pape 2005 from Frédéric and Daniel Brunier.
There is a little garden where people may have coffee or relax and the kids swing.
