Shenzhen Airlines is a domestic budget airline based in Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
Switched-on Chinese prefer to fly from within the mainland to Shenzhen, and then travel by ferry or road to Hong Kong, which is significantly cheaper. Because Hong Kong is an international airport, fees tend to be at least 30% more expensive than Shenzhen, and the selection of destinations is much less.
