The LOOOOONG trip home

Why is the return trip so much longer? We were up early and, after dropping Larl off at the Milwaukee airport to rent a car, we headed out on thje long trek home. We got home late and exhausted but gratified at having had yet another fantastic pilgimage to Oshkosh.
Because Ed and Ron had not known Karl, (and vise versa) I had had some apprehension about how well we'd all get along stuffed into a small RV for a week. Knowing all of the personalities, however, I was pretty confident things would work out. Is it happened, I need not have given it a thought; all four of us got along famously and there was not a singe moment of tension. The week was just about perfect!
