AirVenture is an annual gathering of nearly a million pilots, and other aviation enthusiasts from all over the world. The number and variety of aircraft is absolutely awesome. This was my 5th visit. As always, I went with my friends Ed and Ron and this time my friend Karl from Düsseldorf joined us as well. We had a great time!

Airshow

While AirVenture (referred to by most of us as just "Oshkosh" as if that's not the name of a city that exists for the other 51 weeks of the year) is not JUST an airshow, the daily shows are amazing. The worlds greatest aerobatic performers are proud to perform for the daily crowds and, surprisingly, it's easy to get a front row seat (on the ground, of course!)
