Back to Argentina - Ushuaia

A 21-day roundtrip through three amazing countries. All 3 I've visited before. Some places again, some for the first time.

Back to Argentina - Ushuaia

Today we traveled by public bus. Very long day, many hours driving ànd a lot of time waiting to cross the border (Chile - Argentina).

The hotel in Ushuaia, Campanilla Hotel, is a bit in an outskirt, but a very nice place to stay!

3 nights in Argentinas most southern city.

Next stop on our trip was Ushuaia.

We were staying three nights in Hotel Campanilla in an outskirt of Ushuaia.
The location is the only ‘complaint’ I have on this hotel.

Small hotel, very charming, most friendly staff (the owning couple don’t speak much English, but such nice people). Rooms are not big, but very cosy.

Breakfast is great. You feel very welcome at this hotel.

Ushuaia is not a very special town, but the area is beautiful. From the harbour the (cruise)ships are sailing to Cape Horn and Antarctica. Which creates a special atmosphere in town.
My late husband and I did an Antarctica trip in Dec. 2003. Great memories!

A very nice excursion is cruising the Beagle Channel. See photos in my blog.
