Simply put, the most beautiful and delicious-tasting cakes I've ever experienced.
They have a variety of sliced individual cakes in the glass case, ranging from about 350 to 650 yen ($3.50-6.50). You can choose among shortcake with buttercream, chocolate mousse, chestnut tart, or their own signature cakes, just to name a few. They also have fresh chocolates too. You can take these treats home, or enjoy them in their little cafe with a garden view. If you sit at the cafe, you can order a cup of tea or coffee to have with your cake.
Anniversary is famous for their unbelievable cake decorations, and they get many requests for wedding and special occasion cakes.
They also have adorable gifts to take home, such as wrapped cookies, jams, and chocolates.
Not to be mistaken for Anniversaire cafe on Omotesando, the real Anniversary cafe is a true hidden gem. From the intersection of Omotesando and Aoyama dori, walk on Omotesando but away from the shops and Harajuku. It's hidden on the right side about 6 minutes away.
