Heading back home

At 10pm we arrived at the harbour in Dover where we hopped on the ferry to Calais.
Then there was an about 12 hours long drive lying ahead of us now which was enough time to take an extensive nap and enjoy the typical entertainment on board.

Sure thing, I was pleased about the fact I had been to one of the most pulsating and multi-faceted cities where we had a fun time but I was definitely happy about coming back home where a snack that wouldn’t taste either (too) sweet or (too) salty was waiting. It had been fine to experience the local cuisine but my taste buds just wanted something they’re used to. ;-)
