Hello Mr Booby

Usual early routine for our last day - up at 7am for breakfast. We then went out in the panga (small boat) to see Black Turtle Cove. Unfortunately you’re not allowed to go in the water here as it’s a Marine Reserve and shark rest here, but we still got to see White Tipped Reef Sharks, Galapagos Sharks, Black Turtles, Eagle, Golden and Manta Rays and loads of Blue Footed Boobies. So it was a nice way to end our cruise - the time flies by and before we knew it, we were on our way back to Baltra. Would’ve been great if we were going straight to the airport, but as it was we were going to Puerto ayora for a few more days, so we had a bit of deja-vu going through the same journey as we had on our first day.

On the bus back to Puerto Ayora, we bumped into Nicole and Dominee and we suggested they stay with us at che Che’s appartments. We all checked back in , had lunch at The Rock and chilled out for the afternoon. We planned a bit of a night out in Puerto Ayora as its quite lively at weekends, so met up with Catherine and her volunteer friends (Mary, Suzie, Tanya and Sien) along with Valerie and David from the boat. Was a good group, so had a few drinks at the appartment and hit the bars before ending the night at Bongo Bar - good fun and a much needed blow out.
