Okay First off I'll just say, I have wanted to see castle Neuschwanstein since I was about 12 and I am STOKED that I finally got to see it. :)
Two of my friends and I took a trip to the Fussen(ish) area of southern Bavaria to see Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, and we couchsurfed with a guy nearby. It was amazing! We not only got to hike up a non touristy trail with a waterfall to castle neuschwanstein we got to see Hohenschwangau and a few castle ruins nearby. It was really nice. I am going to keep this short only because I am extremely tired, but I hope that I remember to get back on and edit it in a few days or so.
I will say this though...this trip was everything I ever hoped for and I could not have asked for anything better :) THANK YOU CASTLES :)
