New Orleans Jazzfest

This one was my second jazzfest.  Although this jazzfest was rained out, we still braved the rain to taste all the goodies at the fest.  Of course, I still had the Softshell crab po boy.  So yummy!!!!  It turned out fine and we still had a great time.  Of course, we had no idea that Katrina would happen in a few months.  But, during the downpour, the fairgrounds was flooded and it was very difficult to move around in the mud... and it was very muddy.  More importatntly, it was really difficult to eat with that very sexy poncho we were wearing to keep us somewhat dry.  But, rain or shine, Jazzfest plays on.  And Elvis Costello actually was very entertaining that year.
