The first group of pictures from September 2005 was taken at Yongsan Station and Nam San (Mountain in Korean/Hangul). Nam San is the highest point in Seoul and also is where the Seoul Tower is located at. It has the best view of Seoul from this location. There are some stores and restaurants located in the tower which also includes a rotating 360 degree view. I was not able to go up to the Seoul Tower because it was under going some construction and would not finish until November 2005. For those that like a challenge, try walking up and down Nam San. It will more than likely give you a good burn in your lower body. They also offer a cable car ride up and down Nam San for a fee of about 3000 won (about $3 US Dollars) one way and I believe 5000 round trip.
The second group was taken in February 2006 when I met comedian Bruce Bruce in the Itaewon District while he was doing some shopping. He was in Korea conducting a USO tour. I thought I was kind of a big guy at 225 pounds but he made me look so small.
I plan to visit Seoul Tower/Nam San again, along with some of the other sights of Seoul. I will be sure to update.
