Driving through the blue and green light
In Le Touquet-Paris-Plage we arrived with all the other holiday spenders from especially Paris. The parking’s all over the city were full of cars from Paris and Paris is not that far away from there. We parked the car on a corner in genuine Brussels style parking and hoped for the best. We had been extremely lucky with the weather, the sun was shining and it was already more than 23 degrees.
We walked the streets in a ordinary tourist way which mean that even a snail would get stress. After some time, we found the Blues Café where we wanted to eat in the evening. We booked a table and then tried to find a table outside where we could have a cold beer to relax upon. Every outdoor table we found was restricted to eating people and most of the places could only tell us this in a very rude way even though we were asking nicely. Customer service had apparently blown away with the wind. After some time we gave up; they only would serve you if you were eating; a very strange way to treat ones customers. We drove back to the hotel and decided to go to our next golf destination and get something to eat and drink in the golf club.
