Today is an easy day. Wake up and have some breakfast. Then do abit of a walkabout in the city.
Head out to the top of the view point by the Christ statue and take in the amazing views of the city.
A view that is worth a million bucks and everyone must see. We then do a walk about more and head to some local markets and pharmacies to get some more meds for another member of the group.
We go have lunch at a good restaurant called Jacks, its owned by some Australian people.
I have a steak sandwich and wash it down with a Milkshake, totally amazing food, just good to have a break from other food for awhile.
We re check out the Plaza De Armas and some of the cathedrals, overall just take in the feel of the city and enjoy it while one can.
Head back to hotel and spend some time on the internet cafe, then meet up with group later in the evening.
This evening we head to a local restaurant in the square where I try some Sirloin rolls for dinner and its amazing.
2 other group members cheated and ate at Rotten Ronny's (mcdonalds) prior to dinner as they were afraid of the food and just order soda instead.
This is a short blog as its was more of a chill out take it easy type of day.
More blogs to come soon.
Next blog will be the start of our Lares Trek, we leave Cuzco then.
I did Lares Trek as I booked too late to do Inca Trail, but over all, all good.
