We are waken by Marco at about 430am this morning and go have breakfast.

We then go on a long morning hike up the trails that are in the area. As we are walking , there is a change in the weather, now it is raining really hard. All well, makes its more interesting.

We now found ourselves trekking in very deep mud everywhere and very wet. We are shown many types of plants along the way.
We make the way to a lake and get to see some Piranha fish eat some food in action. Really neat.

Then we go back to the lodge, after a long journey in the mud for a good lunch. I do some time upstairs in the discover centre of the lodge and learn more about the jungle.

This evening we are  off on a guided night time in the boat for some alligator hunting under a spotlight, very neat.
The hunt for the alligator spotting was very neat, as the guide could spot them from a very long distance, very impressive.
We then do a period of 10 minutes of total silence of just sitting in the boat to listen to the rain forest. An experience one can never forget as you can hear all the sounds of animals, macaws and monkeys etc in the forest, very much alive.

Then its back to the lodge for some dinner and abit of Pisco sour before bed.
