Rain in chinatown
June 24, 2009
2 hours later we arrived from Melaka to Kuala Lumpur. We didnt know where we are, but there was a metro station at the bus stop, so we were safe:) we didnt know at that moment, that we were only 5 minutes walk from the hostel, coz they named a different station as the closest one. an do we rode metro there, making almost a circle, and landed at almost the same street but on the different line. Next time, we should get some city map first;). We found the hotel - in the middle of chinatown - which was good, coz we had plenty of food places all around us:)
The hotel wasnt bad, was even good, but the walls were made of papaer probably coz one could hear everything from the neihbours' rooms. As soon as we wanted to go out - it started to rain, and we were forced to stay in the roof-covered chinatown. This wasnt awesome, coz there was just food, and all the clothes and bags, and souvenirs. We had to stay there the whole evening. Kuala Lumpur obviously forgot to treat us as guests;)
