Pagsanjan Falls
June 14, 2009
From Tagaytay (volcano treking) and after lunch we went to Pagsanjan. There we were kinda surprised by the high price of the boat trip to the Falls. RJ wanted to do something with help of his uncle, that was the cool moment, when he called the uncle and said more or less this:
"Hi uncle Mike, this is RJ! ... they pretend not knowing who am i!" ahhahaha
Then he passed the phone to the guys who's running the boat buissiness but at the end it came out, that the prices are as usuall. Still it was more than what we expected. Then we payed and got into the boats. At the beginning it was like boring river ride, but then the river became more like mountain-creek, and the boatsmen were doing pretty good job to push the boats against the creek-current, jumping intoand out of the water, from one stone to another. Meanwhile we got more and more wet... at the beginnig every one was carefull, trying to get as less wet as possible, but the farther we went the mor impossible it seemed to stay dry. And then the rain started to finish the job. Now we were all totally wet, the thunderstorm made cool sound in the canyon and we came to the Fall. Here we had to pay again for the short ride to the fall itself and we took almost all - wet anyway - clothes going on the raft in underwear (only Mike stayed with his jeans - as other said - it was because he dindt wear underwear;) ahhaha
Mike - no worries, we all still believe it was just a joke so - even if not, don't correct this one;) nevermind.
We went to the fall for a while and even swam there, but it was so strong that we didnt make it to get directly under tha falling water, which was probably safer for us. Then we went back to Pagsanjan - took shower and changed clothes (if one had still new - dry change). Then we went to that horrible poisonous almost resto for the fake food, and get back after that to Manila.
