Bangkok, here we come!
We tryed to get to the old town, but it looks like no metro line goes there. If u look at the city map, all rapid transit lines end far too far from the city centre. That makes u walk so much in Bangkok or... u dare to use the buses. We did. And it wasnt that bad. We went to the sky-train terminus and tryed to find a bus going to Grand Palace. We had to walk first and get through the traffic, but finally we arrived at the bus stop. The a bit crapy buses passed one after another, we - without any bus system map had no clue which is going to our destination. We didnt even knoew if they sell tickets on the bus. I asked some random person for help, showing the picture with Grand Palace and pointing at it and... BINGO! Thai people - unlike Beiging-citizens - will help u (most of the times). And we got on the bus #82. Then the same started again, i saw the ticket-lady, and pointed at the picture with the Palace again, and she told us the fare and sold the ticket. Hmm. looks like pretty easy. But we didnt know where to get of. So after some stops, when we know we are pretty close to the destination we tryed our luck and got of. And we crashed at ... flower market. Then we tryed to get out of that place and ended in some vegetables market, which wasnt that bad, coz we saw the usual ppls' life a bit. finally we asked again pointing at the picture and we arrived. First we visited the temple Wat Po, where RJ got lost. Then i found him at the ticket office, trying to buy again the ticket, we already bought! I have no clue why he did it, and i maybe dont want to know;) ahhahaha. We saw there this huge leaning buddha and a lot of other buddhhas. When we were fed up with this temple we went to Grnad Palace, which was closed until 13.00 and we were hungry, but that place looked more like temples, ministeries, offices and parks - but no food places. As we were praying over the city map, a guy asked if we need help and so he told us, that at that day (last day of june) because of some holidays or another celebration (king's birthday???) we can take tuk-tuk just for whole day for 20 baht, but they will bring us to tailors and other shops, and get for that 5-liter-gasoline-coupon. We didnt pay that much attention to the part about bringing us again and again to tailors. Then he told us what to see in Bangkok and stopped for us a tuk-tuk. The driver brought us to one place from the list made by the guy, then to a tailor, where we didnt know what we are doing there and tryed to get of the shop. Then another temple and suddenly we were at some tourist agency, and so on. At some point RJ ask for making him for real a jacket. Meanwhile i was harased by other tailor, but i didnt want a suit. Man he was so annoying. Hahahaha. Finally they took the measures of RJ Mocca Belly and we could go. We saw another temples and places. Finally we wanted go buck to Grand Palace but the tuk-tuk driver wanted us to take to another tailor to get the 5-liter-gasoline coupon. And we had no mood for tailors harassing again. So we wanted to leave him and just pay the 40baht. Untfortunately there was no ATM there, and as we got one the banknote was too big. So we got to the bank to exchange it, and it took a while, meanwhile the driver was about to wait for us. But as we were back - he was gone! Ahahah! He wanted more the gasoline coupon than the cash.
Then we visited the golden Mountain (with nice view over the city) and took another tuk-tuk to get back to Grand Palace. They wanted to drive us again to some tailors but we just payed the regular fare and skip the tailors.
From Grand Palace we took the boat to get to the marble temple (Wat Trimit). Then we ate those cool thai dumpling-like things. We were exhausted and it was so hot, that we rest in the metro, riding it for some time.
