Hongkong ---> Shenzhen: welcome in China

dumpling breakfast at hostel!
We left the crappy Chungking Mansion in HK and left for real China - mainland - Shenzhen. Again a tip for saving money - if u have a daypass for HK and u r leaving for Shenzhen get off the MTR - east line at the second last station and bye the one way ticket for the one left station, instead of buying it for the whole trip from Kowloon. U better use those few bucks for food or whatever;)
So we arrived in China after filling again the stupid flu-forms and arrival cards and everything. Once we crossed the border we couldnt get the money from the cash mashines at the chinese stupid HSBC bank. Lucky we, we had some us$ so we just exchanged it. Then we took the metro to the hostel, which was very good, clean and in maybe one of the nicest borrough in Shenzhen - full of green, clean and silent.
In the afternoon we rode metro to city and had a long walk there, ate good at some street food places and were really happy to get finally to China. We noticed that in Shenzhen there are no  old ppl, just very young persons everywhere. We saw litteraly 3 older persons in almost 3 days. But it's because SZH is young modern city, so they need fresh 'work-power'.
So that was our first day in China. Tomorrow off we go for 1-day-trip to Guangzhou.

Green city - cool
It's a very good hostel, clean and in a silent neighbourhood (also very green place there, and the supermarket is at the corner - only 30 meters from the hostel) The only thing that's not too god is that yu have to walk from the metro station for around 10mins... which is not that bad, coz the way is through very green and nice place and the hostel is really good (especially after experiences with the Hongkong hostels! haha;))
There is a bus to the airport too at the same place as the metro station, so u shouldnt have problems to get there (it takes around 1 hour to the airport.)
At the hostel they have a common room when u can stay and watch TV or another one - with the bar where yu can eat (kitchen-like room is available too) and in the morning u can order breakfast (not included in the price thou). Internet isnt free.
