HK - window for China

kLumpels at and Hongkong island
Ok here i came to Hongkong short after 9.00. Took the bus S1 to Tung Chung MTR station (3,5 HK$) changed for the metro to Tsim Sha Tsui (daypass 55HK$) and that way i saved more than 100$. Usually ppl take the stupid expensive Airport Espress and pay something like 110 bucks and u can made it for 20 if it s just a single ride . That takes maybe something like 20-30minutes more. But i had that time, coz RJ was supposed to land at 13.20!
So this is the tip how to save some dollars - whatever dollar it might be US- or HK ;)
I found our hostel left the luggage and had some walk in Kowloon. Then i got back to the airport to pick up my kLumpel RJ, coz he's such a baby and is scared to be alone in big city hahahahaha ;)))) Peace kLumpel!
Then we arrived to the hostel Chungking Mansion which was just a rats nest, so narrow and just horrible. But that is probably common thing in the small hilly HK with so little space for buildings.
Anyways, we had walk around the town, rode to Hongkong Island looked up places, here and there. And in the evening we got to the harbour for the  light show and for meeting with Amy who was also in HK at same time. Then we walked up for some food near Amys hotel.

“How to get cheaper from/to the airport”
If u land in HK every one will tell u - take the Airport Express metro train. But if u r on budget, u will pay WAY to much for this. The single ride to town will cost u 100 $, which is regular ripping u off. It's the fastest way, but u can get there for less than 20$!

Go to the arrival hall, then in the middle u will see the signs leading u to Airport Express, DONT GO THERE, instead of this proceed to the left (girls - not this left, the other left! ;)
U will see escape way signs and the stairs down. Go there, push the door and keep doing it untill u arrive in the bus stop. This is the stop for bus S1 and S64. Take one of them (cost 3.50$) to the end stop - Tung Chung station. follow the people out of the bus station and u will see MRT - metro entrance - buy single ticket to ur destination (around 15$ depending of the distance) and u saved 80%
If you will be traveling on the metro more on that day, u can buy day-tourist-pass for 50$ and u will save even more.
Airport Express is cool and fast, but u have to change it most of the time and buy another ticket. so if u have around 30minutes to spare more - make it smarter and cheaper;)
Good luck in Rats nest:)
