Me drinking my first Coconut in Asia (the very first was in Paris some time ago i guess) but im not a fun of this drink
When the bad boys* were sleeping, the good guy** went to church, but even after he came back the bad boys were still being lazy in bed. It took quite a while for them to wake fully up. [* RJ and Mike/** Jegs]
I knew that Singapore was always a city where plenty of nations, cultures and religions mixed - but i didn't expect that many filipino, or hindu people. I was always thinking, here live mostly chinese and malayos. And so we went to visit today (after my mass - coz it's sunday) the Little India, where really all the people from India seem to stay. Food and other traditional things of indian origin seem here 'to be at home'. It's very cool and interesting that few blocks farther there is an Arab street, with the Mosque and arab food places - like small muslim place in the middle of other small places here in Singapore. We wanted enter the mosque but there was the main prayer at that time, and we were probably not wearing the decent clothes for visit there, so we gave up and watched the whole arab area around the mosque - with all the small shops and restaurants and muslim women covering their heads.
We visited aso the huge electronic mall, where RJ tryed to buy some softwere for his work/hobby (nobody knows exactly;) but the prices weren't that good as he expected so we left the mall without having bought anything.
In the evening Mike brought us to the local food - the real malayo place where we had good meal and then we took the taxi and drove to some park - but don't blame if i forgot the name - it was not too far from Tajong Katong, where we live, in some part of town - close to the seashore... i guess. It was the bar in the park, pretty nice place, actually very cool one. We had there drinks and then tryed to get the cab back home, but we couldnt find any. All of which were passing by were already taken, so we had to call for a taxi.
