We tryed to wake up earlier to get before noon to Guangzhou
(known in Europe also as Kanton). We went to the railway station in order to get the fast train there. But this wasnt that easy. First we couldnt find the part of the station which was dedicated to fast trains and the station stuff showed us just direction with hands without paying attention if we find the right way. It was probably more than half an hour when we finally found the right place. The next step was buying tickets. At the machine u have just to guess if ticket u want is the right one. Then we just follow the other ppl. Boarding almost as at the airports. And finaly we got on the train. 1 our later we arrived in Guangzhou.
The first steps we went to was Shenmian Island, with the western willas, and nice boulevards.
temple of ?? one of many
It's not only a touristic place but some popular spot for weddings, coz we saw there dozens of pairs taking pics with photographers. On the way back to metro we aksed some tourists of what to do, coz we hadnt any maps and they gave us some tips with their map (thanks guys, u saved our poor asses there;) ).
That way we found the Temple (i will find the name later) --> this is the name: Liu Banyan Temple, and stayed there for some rest. Next was the memorial and park on the hill and this weird food on sticks, which was delicious (like octopus and unknown small birds eaten with head, bones and everything - it was good even if it was a bit bitter... i bet those flavour came from the stomac and all the guts of the small poor guys).
We walked around the market street (i think it was Beijing Lu) and as we got tired we headed back to train and came to Shenzhen
