Xochimilco

Xochimilco lake is a nice place in the south of Mexico City, where you can rent small boats called "Trajineras" which are  driven with a stick and you can eat on board, listen to mariachis, marimba or your own music, enjoy the view and spend a great time. The food sellers are also moving in small boats, they cook the food on board, but only mexican food. There are a lot of floating gardens called Chinampas, where you can buy all kinds of flowers and plants. Xochimilco means field of flowers in nahuatl.
