The other day I showed you guys some pictures of Lohr from bird's eye view - that is, a helicopter. Well, today we are zooming in a little! This morning I took some pictures of downtown area from the Bayersturm, which is a 700 years old watchtower which was used to warn people in case of fire and potential invaders.

View from the Bayersturm

As the weather was so nice today, I decided to go downtown for a walk to try out my new camera, a Canon IXUS870IS (SD880IS in some countries). When I walked through downtown's pedestrian area, I noticed that the old watchtower called Bayersturm was open for public. Well, actually it's open every saturday and sunday, but as a local you don't realize any more. I took the 140 steps to get up that tower to take some pictures. You get a really nice view from up there! Don't miss it, when you happen to be in town! I'll write a review of the tower later...
For now, just enjoy the pictures!
